MY REVIEW

First things first…. This is my first book from Mariana Zapata, I wasn’t sure what to expect but I really enjoyed how this story was written and the context it was written in, I never read anything like it but I must say I really enjoyed it.

I adored the way in which Ruby and Arron get to know each other and how they build their friendship over messaging, emails and letters, it was so well done/written that it didn’t matter that they hadn’t met each other. I loved reading the emails/letters/messaging between the two, I even laughed out loud at some of them, they talk about everything and anything

Although they wasn’t anything romantic between them through the emails, you could still feel their connection through the friendship they were building. I also loved reading between the lines and knowing their relationship was slowly changing without either of them knowing or noticing it.

The story is told from Ruby’s pov throughout the book, the first part of the book is emails and letters which I really enjoyed.

Overall, I would say this is a great book, I loved every part of it especially the emails back and forth, I never read anything like it.

Ruby Santos knew exactly what she was getting herself into when she signed up to write a soldier overseas.
The guidelines were simple: one letter or email a week for the length of his or her deployment. Care packages were optional.
Been there, done that. She thought she knew what to expect.
What she didn’t count on was falling in love with the guy

  1. You could certainly see your expertise in the work you write. The world hopes for even more passionate writers like you who are not afraid to say how they believe. Always follow your heart.

  2. Hi there this is kinda of off topic but I was wondering if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding know-how so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
